About
Kaan Eskikalci
Game designer and developer with a B.A. in Digital Game Design, focused on gameplay systems, player experience, and interactive game development. My work combines game design with hands-on development in Unity and Unreal, with a growing technical focus on C# and C++.
Right now I am leading KILLSTREAM, a 2–6 player party game a three-person team is building for Steam, where I work across design and development and own the networking and minigame framework.
Before that I was the sole gameplay developer on KAM, a turn-based roguelite RPG built by a five-person team as our graduation project. I designed and implemented its combat, progression, inventory and save systems, then reworked them against playtest data from 24 players.
What interests me most is the loop between a system and the person playing it: designing a mechanic, putting it in front of players, and letting what they actually do decide what changes next.
