Yerinde Duramayan Adam (Game Jam)

My first game jam.

The constraint. Three of us, a fixed deadline, and all of us still learning Unity. Ambition was not the limiting factor — coordination was.

My contribution. I worked on the concept and wrote the gameplay code while we were all still finding our way around the engine.

What went wrong, and what it taught me. We built the game as a series of separate sequences rather than one repeatable loop, which meant every new idea cost us a whole new scene instead of reusing what already worked. Splitting work between three people only functions if you agree what the game is before anyone starts building — otherwise you spend the deadline reconciling three versions of it.

The result. Rough, and finished. It was the first thing I completed with a team rather than on my own, and the scoping lesson is one I have used on every project since.
