Highlights
- Designed and built the site, with game design and development as two sides, each project with its own case page
- English and Turkish from one set of project files — a translation holds only words, so facts, media and links cannot drift between languages
- Static and light on JavaScript, with the design documents, playtest reports and CV available as downloadable PDFs
My portfolio, which I designed and built. It is written for studios, recruiters and master’s admissions readers, so it puts the projects first: what each one is, what I did on it, and the design documents, playtest reports and postmortems behind it.
How it is organized. Two sides — game design and art, and game development — each with its own grid, a secondary section for work beyond games, and an archive for game jams, coursework and course rebuilds, so they never carry the same weight as original work.
How it is built. A static Astro site in TypeScript and plain CSS, deployed on
Vercel. Every project is a Markdown file checked against a schema; English is the
default and Turkish mirrors it under /tr. A Turkish entry only carries words —
cover, media, tools, years and links stay in the English entry — so the two
languages cannot fall out of sync. Each page gets its own canonical URL and language
alternates, and the CV is generated from a single HTML source.
