Highlights
- Designed and built the studio's site — about, games, philosophy and contact on one page
- Gave it the same CRT-broadcast identity as KILLSTREAM, so the studio and its first game read as one brand
- English and Turkish as two static pages, with SEO tags and the sitemap generated from one config file
Three Folks Studio is the independent studio the three of us founded to make KILLSTREAM. I designed and built its website.
The brief. A studio site has one job: make a small team look like a real studio to players, press and publishers, and send them to the game. So it is a single page — who we are, what we are making, how we work and how to reach us — rather than a site to explore.
The design decision. The site borrows KILLSTREAM’s broadcast look instead of a neutral “studio” template: hanging CRT monitors for the three of us (design, art, code), a live REC clock, scan lines and a “now broadcasting” ticker. A visitor who lands on the studio first already knows what our game feels like.
How it is built. A static React and TypeScript site built with Vite and styled with Tailwind CSS, with no backend, tracking or API keys. Studio details, team and games live in config files, so adding a game or changing the copy never means touching components. English is the default and Turkish has its own page; each gets its own title, description, canonical URL and language alternates at build time.
